rising, many americans are wondering what will happen with the war in afghanistan. >> we have just finished the deadliest month in afghanistan for u.s. troops. 49 americans were killed. at the same time, command on the ground says the strategy needs to be revised. it prompts many to ask what exactly is our plan. army reservists are bound for afghanistan. there is a more dangerous, unstable battle. the casualties continue to climb. >> if we came home and did not finish anything, they died for nothing. >> they're headed to another funeral for a fallen soldier.

a terrifying scene for students on their way to school. a car hit a 14-year-old girl, through her high in the air, and she landed on the sidewalk. the carhen slammed into a minivan. in all, seven people were hurt. the 14-year-old girl was the most seriously hurt. she is in stable, but critical condition. in and went through a window on campus -- a man went through a window on campus and sexually assaulted a woman. when she screamed, he ran. there is no word on whether cases are connected in any way. another arrest has been made in the sophisticated identity theft ring that victimized ben bernanke's wife among others.
